Why be a hero?

The word "hero" comes from ancient Greek heros ἥρως, whose root means "to protect and serve". A hero is someone who makes a bold action and very grateful, he says hero who saves a life.

In YFSE, we talk about heroes rather than voluntary, because we consider heroes who fight for life, those who collect garbage and do not let it get to a river. Called a hero who cares, protects and defends a tree or a forest alike, who works to improve the environment and stay healthy, who reforest, defend life and combating climate change.
